Happy 1st Birthday, Michael!

So, he did it - our little boy turned 1! I am in disbelief that a year has already flown by for this little guy. What a trooper he's been - even on his birthday and at his party, he was a bit under the weather, but he managed to smile nonetheless. At his one year old check-up, Michael weighed 21 lbs. (30th percentile) and was 29.5" long (50th percentile). We lovingly call him our little smurf - at this point, it appears that he is skewing shorter like his mommy while Alexis continues to top the charts staying in the 97th percentile for height/weight. Michael passed his exam with flying colors and showed the doctor that he is fearless by attempting to jump in her office. He is amazing to watch grow and is such a little sponge. He wants to be a big kid already and seems to try anything that his sister does. He loves the show Max & Ruby, and now that his car seat faces front, he can see the DVD player in the car, so he is in heaven. If the movie isn't on, he looks up and says, "Ruby." It's too precious!
