I couldn't post something about Alexis without posting something about Michael. Michael will be 3 in exactly 18 days, and he is definitely ready to be bigger. He has assigned each family member different gifts that he would like to be purchased for his birthday. His list is a mile long because every time something is advertised on TV, he just has to have it.
Michael makes us laugh on a daily basis. He just does and says funny things. He is fearless, so he's constantly running into things, diving, etc. He repeats everything he hears, which sometimes isn't always good. Just the other day, he was trying to bowl on the iPhone, and it wasn't working quite right, so he says, "What in the h-*@ is wrong with this?" We all tried to keep a straight face, but instead erupted with laughter, so you can imagine he repeated it several times.
He is very interested in how things work and why. You can't say I don't know, or give him a half-hearted answer because he will scold you and ask again. Michael has never met a stranger. He is very interested in people's names. While dining at a restaurant the other day, he fell in love with our waitress, Marie. He talked to her the whole time we were there, and even made me take him back into the restaurant to say goodbye before we could leave.
He is very excited to turn three because he knows that he is now old enough to play soccer and will make his first visit to the dentist. He talks about both non-stop. Michael is a little boy full of energy and life. There is never a dull moment in the Bird House with him running around. :-)
