Michael's 6 Month Check-Up

Michael was a trooper at his six month check-up. He received 3 shots and one oral vaccination, but you would never know it now...it has not slowed him down one bit. Michael weighed in at 18 lbs., 2 oz. and was somewhere between 26.5 and 27" long - it remains a mystery just how long this boy is. He can now sit up on his own very well, and he can even correct his balance in order to not fall. At the doctor's office, he began clapping out of the blue, but he really loves it, especially in the middle of the night. Michael moved onto fruits and decided that fruit tastes much better than veggies. He likes to spit green beans back at the hand that feeds him, and if he doesn't spit it, he will slap it out of the feeder's hand. Michael is trying to figure out how he just might pull up on furniture - he hasn't figured it out yet, and his Mommy and Daddy are very glad. He loves to scoot/roll himself over to Dad's TV, so he can adjust the knobs for a better picture - Daddy loves this very much, too. Bubbles Buble isn't much of a long napper; he enjoys very short little cat naps, so he can return to discovering how to move. He gets very frustrated, but he is so close to crawling that it's scary. He continues to be amused by Alexis and likes when she pays attention to him.
